Acceptance of abstracts for the 5th International Scientific Conference: till 16th of June, 2025. All abstracts submitted by the students with the research supervisor’s consent shall be considered accepted for the Conference.
There will be two abstract books published digitally:

A Digital Object Identifier (DOI) will be assigned to each abstract.

The 5th International Scientific Conference
For the 5th International Scientific Conference, we invite authors to submit original abstracts that have not been published or submitted to other conferences or journals. At the Conference presenters will be divided in panels based on the thematic of their abstracts submitted to the Conference. One panel will consist of 4 to 6 presenters and a moderator. Each presenter will give an 8-minute presentation providing short insight in the research. Presentations will be followed by a 30-minute moderated discussion of the presenters. The language of the presentations and the discussion is English.
The 14th Students’ Research Conference
Students and recent graduates from Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences and other higher education institutions are invited to submit abstracts based on their study projects and thesis. Research supervisor’s consent is required for the students’ submissions:

At the 14th Students’ Research Conference on October 15, there will be two options for presenting: an 8-minute oral presentation or a poster. The language of the abstracts, the presentations and the posters is English. The best abstracts and presentations will be awarded.

Regular conference fee is EUR 160
The fee includes abstract review and publication in the abstract book of the 5th International Scientific Conference SOCIETY. TECHNOLOGY. SOLUTIONS, coffee breaks during the conference, as well as participation in the Science Festival form 15th to 17th October, 2025 at Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, Valmiera, Latvia. The Science Festival will incorporate: the 14th Students’ Research Conference on October 15, the Research Leadership Forum on October 16, and the Stakeholders’ Forum on October 17.
Reduced conference fee of EUR 80 is applied to:
- Doctoral students
- E3UDRES2 members
- Every next abstract of the same author
Free of charge:
- Participation with an abstract in the 14th Students’ Research Conference on October 15
- Listening to the presentations at the students’ research conference on October 15 and parallel sessions of the scientific conference (participation with no report / abstract) on October 16
- Participation in Research Leadership Forum and Stakeholders Forum (information to be specified soon)
