From March 24 to 26, partners of the "Change(K)now!" project, led by Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences, will convene in Lahti, Finland. The project aims to transition food delivery systems in Baltic Sea region cities from single-use to reusable packaging, promoting sustainable solutions and a shift in packaging usage mindset.
The meeting will gather 23 project partners from Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden, Poland, Germany, and Denmark. Discussions will focus on project progress, experience sharing, and planning future activities to implement circular principles in food delivery systems.
Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences plays a pivotal role in administrative leadership, developing training programs for municipalities and entrepreneurs on sustainable food delivery systems, and overseeing solution prototyping and piloting in Latvia.
