REQUIREMENTS
High school / secondary education An additional condition for foreign applicants: the average grade in the Diploma Supplement should be at least 60% of the maximum possible. The entry qualification documents are accepted in the following languages: English / Latvian / Russian. Often you can get a suitable transcript from your school. If this is not the case, you will need official translations along with verified copies of the original. You must take the original entry qualification documents along with you when you finally go to the university. |
Language requirements | English Certificate of English language proficiency or a document confirming the language proficiency issued by an international testing institution during the last five years, attesting to the proficiency of the implementation language of the relevant study programme at least at B2 level. If the previous education has been acquired in English, the English proficiency certificate is not required. |

APPLICATION DEADLINES 2025:
Non-EU, Non-EEA applicants: March 1 - May 31.
EU/ EEA/ Swiss Confederation applicants: March 1 - July 22 (students are eligible to apply for Latvian state-funded study placements).
All eligible students are invited to apply for the Latvian State Scholarship. The application deadline for the academic year 2025/2026 is the 1st of April, 2025.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 2025/2026
10 (ten) study places on state budget resources are available for intake 2025.
Citizens of the European Union countries, the European Economic Area, the Swiss Confederation and permanent residents of the European Union who hold a valid residence permit may use the right to study on state budget resources.

TUITION FEES
The tuition fee is outlined in the individual agreement between the student and the university. The student receives the agreement together with the admission letter. Accepted students must pay the tuition fee in advance for the full academic year.
