The E³UDRES² Ent-r-e-novators project has reached a milestone moment: the release of its seventh and final newsletter, marking the closing chapter of three years of collaboration, innovation, and transformation across the alliance.
This edition offers a comprehensive overview of the project’s latest activities and results, while reflecting on the legacy it leaves for the E³UDRES² community and beyond. Readers will find highlights from our final General Assembly and Executive Board meetings, as well as insights from the European Researchers’ Night 2025, and thematic contributions and project voices that capture the spirit of Ent-r-e-novators.
Among the topics featured in this final issue:
- Project milestones and closing events, including the last General Assembly and Executive Board meeting, as a part of the E³UDRES² Autumn Summit 2025;
- Public engagement initiatives, such as the European Researchers’ Night, where our alliance interacts with citizens both on campus and in the city of Setúbal;
- Reflections on public deliverables, summarising the knowledge and tools developed to strengthen open, engaged, and collaborative research and innovation ecosystems;
- Spotlights on project voices and videos, featuring Hannes Raffaseder and Luísa Carvalho, who share their perspectives on the project’s impact and the future of European higher education;
- Highlights from cluster collaboration, including the EINSTEIN project and shared experiences that enriched Ent-r-e-novators along the way.
Launched on 1 October 2022 and running until 30 September 2025, Ent-r-e-novators was funded by the European Union under Horizon Europe (HORIZON-WIDERA-2021-ACCESS-05) to empower research and innovation capacity in smart and sustainable regions. Over the course of three years, the project achieved a very positive mid-term review, a testament to the dedication of all partner institutions – STPUAS, IPS, MATE, UCLL, UTP, and ViA – and to the collaborative spirit that defined our journey.
This final newsletter is both a celebration of achievements and an invitation to explore the legacy of Ent-r-e-novators, as we close this chapter and look to the future of the E³UDRES² alliance.
